| Sandy was the president, secretary and newsletter editor for the Wanganui Philatelic Society for many years. While resident in Whangarei she was an active member of the Whangarei Philatelic Society and although now country member visits regularly and assists with major events. Sandy has been a committee member of the Thematic Association and is one of their more active members providing material for articles and raising queries and making comments aimed at clarifying issues that have arisen.She has given talks in both Whangarei and the lower half of the North Island and has assisted and promoted exhibiting both formally in workshops and informally in the Taranaki area.
Regularly attending National exhibitions, Sandy has always assisted where necessary as she has also for many of the smaller exhibitions, displays, events in the North Island. |
