Treatment and Importance	All classes require a short introductory paragraph or sentence. Material should be displayed in the manner most appropriate for the subject.
Philatelic Knowledge	This will be demonstrated by the selection of items used. Generally only appropriate philatelic material produced, or valid for postage should be included.
Condition	Should be the best available for the subject.
Presentation	Clear, neat and balanced. Text should be concise and used only when material is not self-explanatory.

Introduction and Plan	A short introductory statement is required. The plan (or table of contents) should be part of page 1 and show the development of the subject in a concise, methodical manner.
Treatment and Development	The development of the subject must follow the plan exactly. Originality, balance and correct information are important.
Philatelic Knowledge	This will be demonstrated by the selection of items chosen. Generally a variety of appropriate philatelic material produced or valid for postage should be included.
Condition	Should be the best available for the subject.
Presentation	Should be clear, neat and balanced. Text should be concise and used only when material is not self-explanatory.
